creativecause: I hope you don't take this wrongly, but can I ask why you think Saint loses every time besides in an undercard race? I know Speak Easy has a Derby win, but Saint is just as capable at 10 furlongs as he is. I've just been noticing a pattern here with every judge when it comes to Saint, not just you. I hope people aren't starting to think that my Preakness winner is less than a Kentucky Derby winner or whatever other winner shows up. To be frank, I figured he'd lose because Speak Easy had the better record (even though they each had run in three races before this). However, I intentionally ran Saint against the best group of distance horses assembled so far in the Dubai World Championship and it appears all for naught. Now my taking a risk to set him up for a great season is going down the tubes. Help

OCEANSIDE STAKES* - 11f - T - 3yo WIN First Class PLACE Like A Lady SHOW Natural Selection fourth Altercation
First Class showed some maturation in this race, and took that big step up that he's been asked for. Like A Lady continues to be very consistent, though I feel like the boys are starting to catch up. Natural Selection is in that same category for me of beginning to show real maturity, and he's going to do very well in the coming preps. Altercation is lovely of course, but this field was a bit too much after already running in two other HOTY* races this month.
