I really didn't want to place anyone in this field out of the money. They are all such phenomenal turf horses! Frosty, do not be disappointed with Melusine or Altercation. Today as far as the field was running it wasn't going to be to the advantage of either a front runner or a closer with such a strong middle field. First Class and Fire It Up were able to run comfortably behind Altercation and when the turn for home came, they were off like a shot. Melusine was closing, but Fire it Up with his massive stride nosed her out by a whisker. Inches separated them all. Such a classy turf undercard!
