It was an extremely tough field; I had a hard time judging it. I didn't want place anyone last, but unfortunately someone had to be. Really, it came down to the fact that she only has raced in one HOTY race this year, while the other horses in the race have been winning HOTY races all year long, and most of them have just come off of pretty big wins. Also, just judging by the different racing styles/descriptions this is how I saw the race going down. Every horse has a bad day once in a while. There were just too many good horses in this race, and I felt bad for placing her last but like I said someone had to.
